Iwaki Walchem is proud to introduce the newest member to the MDH Magnetic Drive Pump family, the MDH-F425.  

This 5 HP fluoroplastic pump is capable of producing over 140 GPM and over 105 ft. of TDH but still hold up to the harshest chemicals you can pump.  It also features the MDH Magnetic Drive Pump family's patented dry run bearing system which allows repeatable, true dry run operation without pump failure. 

In addition, the MDH Magnetic Drive Pump family mounts to standard, off the self NEMA motors so you can choose the motor manufacturer and duty.

Patented pinpoint bearing system leaves internal cooling circuit wide open.  The magnet capsule is prevented from any contact with the rear casing, thereby eliminating  catastrophic failure as a result of dry run or episodic cavitation.

Rifled bearing forces fluid across the spindle surface to create a "liquid sleeve", resulting in reduced friction and rapid, even cooling of all bearing surfaces, prolonging pump life.

High efficiency closed impeller press fits to matching splined surface on magnet capsule; no mechanical fastener is required. Closed design reduces hydraulic loading, improving bearing life.

Replaceable mouth ring made of ETFE generates minimal heat and therefore less thermal deformation.

Robust cantilevered spindle is anchored in the rear of our reinforced containment shell so that suction flow is unrestricted and NPSHr is reduced.  Its inertial stability minimizes noise and vibration.
