mag drive pump
Iwaki
Walchem's WMDX Series mag drive pump for OEM applications offer
the most compact, energy efficient pump in the marketplace.
Available in 15, 20, 30 and 40 sizes, the WMDX Series mag
drive pump features
our traditional high-technology liquid end coupled to a motor
built to the rigorous standards demanded by equipment manufacturers.
All sizes have a fully non-metallic fluid path (including an encapsulated
inner magnet), ensuring the highest reistance
to chemical attack, corrosion and contamination. Our optional
'specialty' liquid ends enable high head or high flow configurations.
Two
Bearing System - Key placement
of the bearings, at the points of greatest load, allows for reduction
of the bearing surface which minimizes the amount of friction
generated by the rotation of the impeller and increases efficiency.
Rotating
Hollow Spindle - Combined with our
two bearing system, the hollow spindle completes our positive
internal cooling loop. This design ensures a positive flow throughout
the pump head and the rear casing. Our pumps run cooler,
yielding longer service life.
Encapsulated Magnet Assembly
- No magnetic materials are exposed to the pumped fluid,
ensuring maximum chemical resistance and presrving the integrity
of the fluid itself.
NPT Male Suction Connection
- Less cracking of the front casing due to over-tightening of
fittings mounted to the front casing. Hose barb connections
available.
Variety of Mounting Positions
- Our positive internal cooling loop allows you to mount our pumps
in any position. Mounted "head up" or "motor
up", air entrapment in the liquid is not a concern.
Compact Design
- A common cry from OEM manufacturers, the WMDX series is the
most compact of our pump offerings and it is small compared with
March and Little Giant.
Choice of Impellers
- Most sizes offer more than one impeller. The open impeller
represents our "standard" flow. The "X"
impeller features vane height & width, delivering greater
flow while using less energy. The "Z" impeller
is a closed design, enabling greater discharge pressures with
no distress to the pump or system.
