Guardian
Disc Filtration Systems from Serfilco
Flexibility
of design for disc filtration/purification
Flow rates to 3,600 U.S. GPH (11,355 I/h @ 50 Hz)
Guardian Disc Filtration Systems from Serfilco are designed for
high quality filtration of plating baths and other chemical solutions.
The large surface area and positive I.D. and O.D. edge seals on
all filter discs assure optimum performance and clarity. These
systems can be used without precoat, precoated with filter aid,
or with a blend of filter aid and activated powdered carbon.
The solids loading areas provided by Guardian Disc Filtration
Systems from Serfilco range from 7.5 to 33 square feet, with flow
rates up to 3,600 U.S. GPH.
The basic Guardian Disc Filtration Systems from Serfilco include
the choice of seal-less or mechanical seal pump-motor assembly
with flow control valve, PVC or CPVC filter chamber and CPVC piping,
all mounted on a corrosion resistant base. Ten foot suction and
discharge hoses are provided. Slurry tank with flow control valves
for pump priming, precoating and chemical additions, as well as
portable bases, motor starters and separate carbon and priming
chambers are available as optional equipment.
Discs impregnated with activated carbon are also available and
used (by themselves or in combination with standard filter discs)
to accomplish the desired degree of organic removal. Chambers
can be serviced by draining and simply lifting the entire disc
stack assembly out. This method provides for the least mess and
minimal solution loss. With the disc stack removed, each disc
can be rinsed off or the disc media changed. Filter disc media
must be ordered separately. |
