Initial pressure drop using the Harmsco Filtration Products
Poly-Pleat™ Filter Cartridge is exceptionally low due
to our pleated design and increased surface area. Pressure
drop data is shown below, calculated for new filter cartridges
in clean water: |

Long
Filter Life
Harmsco Filtration Products Poly-Pleat™ Filter Cartridge
is ideal as final filters for municipal water filtration without
pre-filtration required. In high turbidity water, pre-filtration
is recommended using Hamsco sediment filter cartridges with
two of three step filtration, depending on the source water.
The Harmsco Filtration Products Poly-Pleat™ Filter Cartridge
provides long filter life due to their pleated design and
increased surface area. The data shown below indicates typical
filter life with the Harmsco Filtration Products Poly-Pleat™
Filter Cartridge for municipal water filtration or in high
trubidity water supplies, following pre-filtration. |
