MODEL NS-122-LP-3 STAGE Staged (Series) Filter System

MODEL NS-122-LP-3 Stage in T-304 Stainless Steel Liquid Filter Bag Housings are a three housing unit allowing for three-stage filtration rated for 150 psi (250 F). NOTE: Units may be built in two, three or four stages. The operation of multiple housings in series, as an example, allows for solids removal by descending particle size with each pass through a module. Variations in both particle size and solids concentration in a solution can be addressed with greater accuracy and efficiency. Filter media, disposable or reusable, can be selected to maximize performance and reduce cost. Systems in series maintain the flow rate capacity of a single vessel. Each vessel uses a #2 size filter bag (7" dia. x 32" long). These units can also be used with any combination of Strainers, Micron-Rated Baskets and/or Cartridge Contaminant Chambers.

Condition: Unequal Particle Size Distribution

Outcome: First stage can handle larger particles, subsequent stages can filter finer particulate.

Condition: Redundancy for Greater Quality Control and Performance

Outcome: Improved performance with two filters (same micron) back-to-back for greater efficiency and capture rates.

Condition: Cost Reduction Using Disposable Filters

Outcome: Less expensive prefilters (disposable or reusable) can be used for the First stage, whereas "Absolute Rated" media can be used in the subsequent stage(s).
